The new government are making a number of proposed changes to rights for all employees from their first day of employment. This is a significant change and will affect all employers. 

In October we will understand the timetable and the detail, but we know this will mean changes for family leave, flexible working requests, dismissal rights etc. The manifesto has given HR professionals a good understanding of the direction the legislation is likely to take, it is our view employers cannot afford to wait to think about this.
